PIZZA BOX
Pizza Box grew out of our interest in exploring the dynamics of a friend group in the period of transition that follows college graduation. What happens when people continue spending time together out of convenience, comfort or tradition rather than genuine connection? Originally conceived as several intersecting stories, the film was distilled into two threads: a summer flirtation between two friends, and a drinking game that devolves into chaos for the rest of the group. Set at their Jersey Shore beach house on the verge of being sold, the film captures the nostalgia of summers past while reflecting on the uncertainty of what comes next. Pizza Box is a coming-of-age story about shifting friendships, fleeting relationships, and the endings that make way for new beginnings.

PIZZA BOX
You can’t move forward if you’re always looking back.
With Rearview, we wanted to tell a character-driven narrative while experimenting with non-linear
story-telling. Throughout the film, Eli, our lead, serves as both protagonist and antagonist as he blames others to reaffirm
his own fatalist conclusions about the world. These developments are intercut with reverse-chronological flashbacks, gradually revealing the events that shape Eli into the person we see at the start of the film. The story explores how people can trap themselves in cycles of blame and denial, reinforcing the very beliefs that leave them stuck in the past.
